Graduates earn 612 degrees, certificates from Franklin Pierce University


About 39.7 percent of the 612 degrees and certificates handed out by Franklin Pierce University in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Rindge conferred 114 bachelor's degrees and 81 doctor's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a doctor's degree in physical therapy/therapist. Data shows the school gave out 81 doctor's degrees in physical therapy/therapist, followed by 59 bachelor's degrees in general health services/allied health/health sciences and 47 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse.

The university enrolled 2,303 students for 2017-18, including 1,713 in undergraduate programs and 590 in graduate programs.
