Lake Sunapee Region Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
Name: "The New Hampshire Troubadours" An A Cappella Concert

The New Hampshire Troubadours, founded and directed by Susan Church Cancio-Bello, is a group of thirteen volunteers specializing in madrigal a cappella music. The group performs for local schools and businesses to help with fund raisers and to support music programs. The group recently recorded their first cd "Christmas at Epiphany" with all proceeds to benefit the UpBeat music program at the Epiphany Episcopal Church in Newport.
The New Hampshire Troubadours will be presenting an all A Cappella Concert which will include music dating from the mid 13th century to music of today, including madrigals by the following English and Italian composers: John Bennet, William Byrd, Orlando di Lasso, John Farmer, Orlando Gibbons, Gustav Holst, Luca Marenzio, Thomas Morley, Henry Purcell, John Rutter, Thomas Vautour, and Thomas Weelkes. They will also be performing songs by Vermont composer Brendan Taaffe. Hurry before the tickets are gone!
